WHAT TO WEAR?

It is important when dancing to wear clothes that are comfortable and allow for easy movment.

We encrougage dancers to wear things like leotards, shorts, hotpants, tank tops, leggings or t-shirts.

If the dancer has proper dancing shoes, they must wear them to every class.

If they do not have shoes they are able to dance barefoot.

Hair should be neatly tied back so that it doesn't go into their faces while dancing.

We don't allow for anyone to wear any kind of baggy clothing, denim shorts or jeans.

WHAT TO BRING?

  • water/juice

  • towel

  • socks

  • dancing shoes

  • skipping rope

  • sneakers/takkies

COMPETITIONS

Throughout the year, studios around Cape Town put on competitions.

There are about 5 in total and run on Saturdays throughout the day.

They are not compulsory however we encourage every dancer to try

one when they are ready as it gives them stage experience, more confidence

and a goal to work towards.
